Vakrangee Limited is set to strengthen financial accessibility across India by deploying 3,000 new ATM machines in FY2025-26. This expansion includes UPI-based ATMs, enabling seamless and completely cardless cash withdrawals, enhancing convenience for customers.
The company has already received over 465 applications for setting up new ATMs, reflecting strong demand and trust in its initiative. As of February 28, 2025, Vakrangee operates 6,050 White Label ATMs, with 76% of these in Tier 4 to Tier 6 locations, reinforcing its commitment to financial inclusion in underserved areas.
Vakrangee continues to drive financial, digital, and social inclusion through its vast network. The company prioritizes sustainability by promoting paperless transactions and integrating Divyang-friendly features, ensuring accessibility for all.
A key milestone in its growth strategy is the acquisition of Vortex Engineering Private Limited, now a subsidiary. Vortex, incubated by IIT-Madras, specializes in low-power ATMs and holds nine patents. This acquisition facilitates backward integration, cost synergies, and advanced technology adoption, aligning with the “Make in India – Atma Nirbhar Bharat” initiative.
Beyond ATMs, Vakrangee operates 22,395 Vakrangee Kendra Outlets, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including banking, insurance, financial services, and assisted e-commerce. Notably, 81% of these outlets are in Tier 4 to Tier 6 locations, further bridging the gap in financial services for rural communities.
