Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited (SSCL) has announced the acquisition of a prime 40,000 square meter land parcel in Jawai, Rajasthan, as part of its foray into luxury hospitality. The location, known for its thriving leopard population and eco-tourism potential, is situated adjacent to Aaramgah Jawai Resort & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals Retreats.
The company plans to develop a 120-room luxury 5-star resort on the site, to be named ‘Samskara Jawai Leopard Reserve’. This will be the largest hotel in Jawai and among the largest in Pali district. Construction is expected to begin in Q2 FY25-26, with completion targeted within 18–24 months.
The proposed resort will feature pool villas, hotel suites, leopard safaris, a spa and gymnasium, conferencing facilities, and a multi-cuisine restaurant. SSCL has applied for state-level incentives under RIPS 2024 and Rising Rajasthan programs. If approved, the company will benefit from up to 20% capital subsidy on eligible fixed investments, 100% exemptions on stamp duty, electricity duty, and conversion charges, and other regional incentives.
The estimated subsidy value exceeds Rs 15 crore over a decade. The project is expected to generate employment for at least 150 people in Jawai and surrounding rural areas. SSCL confirmed that architectural and contractor discussions are underway and construction approvals have been submitted to local authorities.
