Victoria Beckham was seen curtsying to Queen Camilla during a reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, March 11. The event marked the 15th anniversary of the Women of the World (WOW) Festival, which promotes gender equality and celebrates women, girls, and non-binary individuals.
Queen Camilla, 77, welcomed various distinguished guests, including business leaders, artists, and educators, in support of the WOW Foundation. Among them was Beckham, 50, who attended in an elegant silk dress from her own fashion label.
In a video shared by royal editor Rebecca English on X, Camilla greeted Beckham warmly, recalling a previous engagement. “Victoria, nice to see you. Did you enjoy the Italian dinner at Highgrove? It was good fun,” the queen remarked, referring to a private dinner hosted by King Charles and herself in February. Beckham replied, “It was a lot of fun, thank you so much.” The event had been attended by actor Stanley Tucci and Victoria’s husband, David Beckham.
David, 49, has maintained close ties with the royal family, particularly Prince William. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in January, he acknowledged his strong association with the Prince of Wales, saying, “Whenever he asks me to be somewhere, it’s always a ‘yes.’”
During the reception, Camilla also addressed the gathering, underscoring the long road ahead for gender equality. She expressed concerns over slow progress but remained hopeful that change could come sooner than predicted.
