Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the cardiac department at AIIMS Delhi in the early hours of Sunday after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain, hospital sources via TOI confirmed.

The 73-year-old leader was brought to AIIMS around 2 AM and admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of Cardiology. According to TOI, Dhankhar’s condition is stable, and he remains under observation, with a team of doctors closely monitoring his health.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda, who also serves as the BJP chief, visited AIIMS to check on the Vice President’s condition. Further updates on his health are expected as doctors continue their assessment.
