Zenith Fibres Limited has announced the successful restoration of its windmill operations at Vejalpar, Khakhrechi village in Gujarat’s Morbi district. The windmill, which had faced temporary disruption due to a generator failure, resumed power generation on March 1, 2025, the company stated in a filing with BSE.

According to the company, the estimated loss from the generator failure is approximately Rs 2 crore. Zenith Fibres has notified its insurer, and a surveyor has been appointed to assess the damage. The company expects the final loss amount to be determined upon completion of the inspection by the repairing agency and the surveyor. Notably, the loss is fully covered under the company’s insurance policy.

Despite the windmill disruption, Zenith Fibres confirmed that its production of polypropylene staple fiber remained unaffected. The company assured stakeholders that operations were restored by replacing the damaged generator with a new one, ensuring a smooth resumption of power generation.

The company’s statement also emphasized that the financial impact of the event was minimal, given the insurance coverage and the continuity of production. The insurer’s final settlement is awaited, and Zenith Fibres expects no material impact on its overall financial performance.
