MG Hector Price & Engine Options
The MG Hector is available with two powerful engine options—a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. The petrol engine delivers 142 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, while the diesel variant produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. However, those preferring an automatic gearbox will have to opt for the petrol variant, which is available with a CVT transmission. The previously offered dual-clutch automatic (DCT) was discontinued due to poor fuel efficiency and response. Unfortunately, the diesel variant still does not offer an automatic transmission.
