JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal has been honored with the prestigious ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ award at the 15th AIMA Managing India Awards. The recognition celebrates his transformative leadership in expanding JSW Group into a global conglomerate.
The award was presented at a ceremony attended by Chief Guest Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, and Guest of Honour Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry; Electronics and IT. The citation was read by Mr. Yezdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India.
Under Mr. Jindal’s leadership, JSW Group has more than doubled its revenues to $24 billion and nearly tripled its annual steel production capacity to 39 million tonnes. His strategic vision has positioned JSW as a major player in renewable energy, cement manufacturing, and infrastructure, while also venturing into electric vehicles and military drones through international collaborations.
