Arunjyoti Bio Ventures Ltd has successfully completed the installation of solar rooftop systems at its manufacturing facilities as part of its sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. The company has installed two solar power systems with a total capacity of 1.1 Megawatts (MW) to support its operations.
Details of Solar Installations:
- Unit 1: A 0.6 MW solar system has been installed at Arunjyoti Bio Ventures – Kallem, Jangaon, Telangana.
- Unit 2: A 0.5 MW solar system has been set up at Arunjyoti Bio Ventures – Annadevarapeta, Tallapudi, Andhra Pradesh.
This initiative is expected to reduce monthly electricity costs and reinforce the company’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.
In a regulatory filing to BSE, Arunjyoti Bio Ventures highlighted that the investment in solar energy aligns with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient energy source for its production units.
The company believes this shift to solar power will contribute to long-term cost savings and reduce its carbon footprint, supporting India’s vision of a sustainable future.
