Actress Sara Ali Khan is currently under the radar for her involvement in Bollywood drug nexus. She was recently called by Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning. Now, Times of India’s video report suggests that Saif Ali Khan has refused to help his daughter in the ongoing interrogation.
The report mentioned that the actress is no more dependent on her father for help. On the other side, even Saif does not want to get involved in the mess. He even went on to lash out on his ex-wife Amrita Singh and gave her an earful.
Currently, Saif Ali Khan has left Mumbai along with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan. They are currently in Delhi for the shoot of Kareena’s upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. Futher the report suggests that, Sara’s grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who was a part of Indian Film Censor Board is trying to help her in every possible way.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor were also questioned by NCB. The ongoing drug nexus broke out after ED gave evidences to NCB on the grounds of possible, ‘drug angle’ in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showik are currently in custody.
