Poonawalla Fincorp Limited announced its unaudited financial results for Q3FY25, highlighting significant growth across key financial metrics. The company, a non-deposit-taking NBFC focused on consumer and MSME finance, saw its AUM, profitability, and asset quality metrics improve during the quarter.

Key Highlights:

  • Assets Under Management (AUM): The company recorded an AUM of ₹30,984 crore, reflecting a robust 41% year-on-year growth and 9% sequential growth. The AUM mix consisted of 36% MSME finance, 24% personal and consumer finance, 22% loans against property, and 14% pre-owned car finance.
  • Net Interest Income (NII): The NII stood at ₹672 crore for Q3FY25, up by 22% YoY, driven by increased lending and fee-based income.
  • Asset Quality: Gross NPA improved to 1.85%, reducing by 25 basis points quarter-on-quarter, while net NPA stood at 0.81%. The provision coverage ratio was maintained at 56.79%.
  • Profitability: The pre-provision operating profit (PPoP) rose 7% YoY to ₹373 crore, showcasing steady operational efficiency.
  • Capital Adequacy and Liquidity: The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) remained strong at 25.89%, well above the regulatory requirement of 15%. Tier-1 capital accounted for 24.46%, while the company maintained a liquidity buffer of ₹4,808 crore.

Commenting on the performance, Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Arvind Kapil, emphasized the company’s robust foundation and sustained AUM growth. “We are excited and confident about the value being built, which will translate into sustainable profits in the coming quarters,” he stated.
