L&T’s Minerals & Metals vertical has secured a significant order for setting up freight handling facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This repeat order, awarded by a leading railway company in the GCC, aims to support their capacity expansion plans across multiple phases. The project scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of freight handling facilities, with advanced automation and control features at two key locations.
L&T, which has a proven track record of executing freight handling facilities in India and the Middle East, sees this order as further reinforcement of its reputation as a key player in EPC and design-build projects. D.K.
