RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has been awarded a significant work order from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for the procurement and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects. The total value of the project is Rs. 17,12,80,662/- (inclusive of tax).

The contract, which falls under the category of domestic orders, involves the provision and upkeep of advanced IT infrastructure, crucial for enhancing the educational ecosystem across the country. The project is to be executed by 27th July 2025, aligning with the government’s vision to modernize educational institutions with state-of-the-art technology.

On January 24, RailTel was awarded a Rs. 9.44 crore project by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB). The project focuses on the supply, commissioning, and maintenance of real-time data acquisition systems for monitoring Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems (CAAQMS), Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), and Environmental Quality Monitoring Systems (EQMS) from industries across Chhattisgarh. The project, which will run until July 2028, aims to improve environmental monitoring by providing efficient management of data from industrial units via a client-server system.

In the meantime, RailTel shares opened at ₹352.65, with a high of ₹370.80 and a low of ₹352.50 during the trading session. The stock’s 52-week high is ₹617.80, while its 52-week low stands at ₹301.40.
