Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has recently informed exchanges that the company bagged orders worth ₹362 crores from leading domestic entities, including Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited, KEC International Limited, Avaada Electro Private Limited, Adani Energy Solution Limited, Torrent Power Limited, and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.
The orders involve the manufacturing and supply of EHV power transformers, with the delivery scheduled for the next financial year. This achievement highlights the company’s expertise and commitment to delivering top-quality products and services in the power sector.
These orders fall under the normal course of business and are not related party transactions. The promoters or promoter group have no interest in the entities awarding these contracts.
In the meantime, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) delivered a strong financial performance in the third quarter ending December 31, 2024. The company reported a 51% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations at ₹559.4 crore and a 21% rise compared to the previous quarter. Total income grew 53% YoY to ₹568.3 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) surged 252% YoY to ₹55.5 crore. EBITDA saw significant growth, reaching ₹93.8 crore, up 134% YoY, with an EBITDA margin of 16.5%. The PAT margin stood at 9.8%, reflecting robust profitability and continued operational efficiency.
