Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd. (HMPL) has taken a significant step in India’s green energy revolution with the development of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Saur Urja Park (CSMSUP), Maharashtra’s first solar park. This pioneering initiative is a collaboration with a leading UK-based multinational, cementing India’s position as a global leader in renewable energy.
Located in Solapur district, the 1.2 GW solar park spans 4,200 acres and features cutting-edge technology. The park will house high-efficiency 750-watt solar panels, including both fixed and advanced tracking systems. The tracking panels follow the sun’s movement, optimizing energy generation throughout the day.
CSMSUP is set to play a transformative role in India’s renewable energy journey, contributing significantly to the nation’s green energy targets. It promises to reduce carbon emissions while driving economic growth by creating jobs and boosting sustainable development in the Solapur region.
HMPL’s efforts underscore India’s leadership in clean energy and its commitment to combating climate change. CSMSUP serves as a beacon for global investors and businesses to participate in building a low-carbon future.
In addition to CSMSUP, HMPL is planning solar hybrid projects in Maharashtra (1,200 MW) and Andhra Pradesh (500 MW), further solidifying its dedication to innovation and sustainability in India’s renewable energy sector.
