Vinfast, the renowned Vietnamese all-electric car manufacturer, is all set to make its grand entry into the Indian market. The automaker has teased its highly anticipated electric SUV, the Vinfast VF7, which is scheduled to be unveiled at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo on 17 January 2025.
Here’s what to expect in VinFast VF7
The Vinfast VF7 is a 4.5-metre-long electric SUV featuring a 75.3kWh battery pack. Buyers will have options for single and dual-motor configurations, available in FWD and AWD variants. With a claimed range of up to 450km on a single charge, the VF7 is designed to meet the needs of modern EV enthusiasts.
In terms of features, the VF7 is loaded with advanced technology and luxury elements. Highlights include a large driver-oriented infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, automatic climate control, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and a comprehensive ADAS suite for enhanced safety.
The VF7’s dimensions and specifications place it in direct competition with established rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and the soon-to-launch BYD Sealion 7, which will also debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
