Renault fans in India will have to wait a little longer for the much-anticipated return of the Duster. The launch has been delayed, as confirmed by Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India. While the French carmaker plans to introduce next-generation versions of the Renault Kiger and Triber in 2025, the all-new Duster is expected to make its debut in India in 2026.
Here’s what to expect in all-new Renault Duster
The upcoming Duster promises to be a modern, rugged SUV with a boxy design reminiscent of the previous model. It will feature bold design elements such as LED headlights, Y-shaped LED DRLs, and LED tail lights. Dual-tone alloy wheels, squared wheel arches, and black cladding will give it a more adventurous appeal.
Inside, the new Duster will offer a more premium cabin with Y-shaped AC vents, a 3-spoke steering wheel, and a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Expect features like wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, a 6-speaker Arkamys 3D sound system, and advanced safety tech, including six airbags and ADAS features.
Under the hood, the international Duster offers multiple powertrain options, including a 130 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology, a 140 PS 1.6-litre petrol hybrid, and a 100 PS petrol-LPG variant. The India-spec model is expected to feature similar engine choices with a focus on fuel efficiency and performance.
