Waaree Energies has recently informed the exchange that the company officially launched the trial production at its cutting-edge 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing plant in Chikhli, Gujarat.
This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant step in India’s renewable energy expansion and the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for solar energy solutions. The plant aims to enhance India’s solar manufacturing capabilities, reduce dependency on imports, and contribute to the country’s ambitious renewable energy targets.
In the exchange filing, Waaree Energies shared, “Company, has today initiated commencement of trial production at its state-of-the-art 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat.”
