Ather has launched the updated 450 series in India, offering a fresh range of features and improved battery performance. The new 2025 Ather 450 models start from Rs 1.30 lakh for the base 450 S, with the top-end 450 Apex priced at Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open across India.
The Ather 450 lineup includes:
- Ather 450 S: Rs 1.30 lakh
- Ather 450 X (2.9 kWh): Rs 1.47 lakh
- Ather 450 X (3.7 kWh): Rs 1.57 lakh
- Ather 450 Apex: Rs 2 lakh
Visually, the 450 series retains the same design as the previous models, with the addition of two new colors—Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue. A major upgrade includes traction control with three modes—Rain, Road, and Rally—for the 450X and 450 Apex. The 450X also gains the MagicTwist function, enhancing its riding experience.
The scooters are powered by Atherstack 6, featuring Google Maps, Alexa, and WhatsApp notifications. In terms of range, the 450 S offers 105 km (15 km more than before), the 450 X with a 2.9 kWh battery delivers 105 km, while the 3.7 kWh battery gives 130 km of range. The 450 Apex also offers 130 km of range, all in Smart Eco mode.
Charging times vary: the 450 S takes 7 hours 45 minutes with a 375 W charger, while the 450 X (2.9 kWh) takes 4 hours 30 minutes with a 700 W charger. The 450 X (3.7 kWh) and 450 Apex require 5 hours 45 minutes for a full charge.
The powertrain remains the same, with the 450 S producing 5.4 kW, the 450 X delivering 6.4 kW, and the 450 Apex reaching 7 kW of peak power.
