Indian benchmark indices reversed their two-day winning streak to close in the red on January 3, 2025. The Sensex plunged by 720.60 points, or 0.90%, settling at 79,223.11, while the Nifty slipped 183.90 points, or 0.76%, to close at 24,004.75.
