Suprajit Engineering Limited, a leading player in the automotive industry, announced the incorporation of Suprajit Chuhatsu Control Systems Private Limited, a new subsidiary, on December 27, 2024. The company has been registered by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
Suprajit Chuhatsu Control Systems will focus on the manufacturing and trading of control cables, transmission cables, and associated mechanisms for the automotive industry, catering to both domestic and international markets. The entity’s authorized and subscribed capital stands at ₹1,00,000 each.
This new venture aligns with Suprajit Engineering’s strategy to expand its footprint in the automotive sector, offering enhanced solutions to meet the growing demand for automotive components. The incorporation is seen as a key step towards strengthening the company’s portfolio, particularly in the control and transmission cable manufacturing segment.
In a regulatory filing, the company confirmed that no governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the acquisition. Suprajit Engineering also emphasized that the acquisition of Suprajit Chuhatsu Control Systems falls outside the main line of business of the company. The promoters of Suprajit Engineering are not involved in this transaction, which was completed via a cash subscription to the share capital.
