Manchester United’s struggles continued last night as they suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the Premier League. It was yet another disappointing performance from Ruben Amorim’s side, who seem to be stuck in a rut as they desperately seek to rediscover their form.
Set-pieces once again proved to be United’s Achilles’ heel, with two of Bournemouth’s goals coming from dead-ball situations. The defensive frailties that have plagued United throughout the season were on full display, leaving fans frustrated and questioning the team’s direction under Amorim.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, were well-organized and clinical, thoroughly deserving the three points. Their disciplined approach and sharp counter-attacks exposed United’s lack of cohesion and urgency, leaving the Red Devils with little to show for their efforts.
With this defeat, pressure mounts on Amorim to turn things around quickly as United find themselves falling further behind in the Premier League standings.
