Kia India has launched the all-new Kia Syros, a premium subcompact SUV that takes the brand’s design and technology to the next level. Positioned as a more sophisticated alternative to the popular Kia Sonet, the Syros promises advanced tech features, enhanced comfort, and a bold design.

Inspired by Kia’s global design language, the Syros boasts boxy, upright proportions, offering more space for passengers. Its front features vertically stacked headlamps, a closed-off grille, and a prominent air vent. The sides showcase squared-out fender flares, 17-inch alloy wheels on top variants, and flush door handles. The rear highlights unique L-shaped tail lamps and muscular cladding.

Inside, the cabin reflects Kia’s EV-inspired minimalism, with a 30-inch panoramic display integrating twin 12.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The dashboard is sleek with minimal physical controls, and the center console houses a wireless charging pad, gear lever, and cup holders. Comfort is paramount, with features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 64-color ambient lighting system.

In terms of safety, the Syros offers a suite of features, including six airbags, ABS, stability control, and an advanced Level 2 ADAS. It also comes with rear seats that slide and recline, providing enhanced passenger comfort.

The Syros is powered by two engine options: a 1.0-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre CRDi turbo-diesel engine, both available with manual or automatic transmissions. With its tech-packed interior and impressive design, the Kia Syros sets new benchmarks in the subcompact SUV segment.
