The Hyundai Creta EV is set to make its debut on January 17, 2025, at the Bharat Mobility Show, as reported by Autocar India. It will compete with the newly launched Mahindra BE 6e, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Maruti’s upcoming e Vitara.

Hyundai Creta EV features

In terms of design, Hyundai plays it safe, retaining the standard Creta’s styling but adding tweaks such as a new closed grille, refreshed bumpers, alloy wheels, and EV-specific badges.

Inside, the Creta EV features a modern interior with a three-spoke steering wheel from the Kona EV, a new drive selector, and a restyled centre console. It also includes advanced features like cooled seats, an electronic parking brake, auto-hold, and a 360-degree camera. The infotainment system will retain a twin-screen setup with updated software for enhanced usability.

The Creta EV will be powered by a 45kWh battery pack, offering a range comparable to rivals like the Curvv EV, and delivering 138hp and 255Nm of torque via a front-mounted motor. Despite a smaller battery than the MG ZS EV and Maruti eVX, it’s designed for efficiency and performance.
