Vedanta Limited (VEDL) has recently informed exchanges that the company declared a fourth interim dividend of ₹8.5 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The total dividend payout amounts to approximately ₹3,324 crore. The record date for dividend payment is set for December 24, 2024. This dividend is based on a face value of ₹1 per share.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of Vedanta Limited (the “Company”), at its meeting held today i.e. Monday, December 16, 2024, has considered and approved the Fourth Interim Dividend of ₹ 8.5/- per equity share on face value of ₹ 1/- per equity share for the Financial Year 2024-25 amounting to c. ₹ 3,324 Crores.”
The announcement was made following the meeting of the Board of Directors, held on December 16, 2024, which started at 4:10 PM IST and concluded at 4:30 PM IST. The dividend will be paid as per the timelines prescribed under law.
