SBEC Sugar has received consent to establish (CTE) from the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) for the expansion of its plant capacity to 10,000 TCD. This approval was granted under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended.
The approval marks a significant step forward in SBEC Sugar’s growth strategy, enabling the company to scale operations and meet rising production demands. The expansion aligns with environmental compliance regulations and reflects SBEC’s commitment to sustainable growth while adhering to stringent pollution control norms.
The company has officially communicated this update to the exchanges in line with SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
