Afcons Infrastructure Limited has officially received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Co. Ltd for the construction of Package BH-05 of the Bhopal Metro Rail Project. The contract, valued at ₹1006.74 crore (excluding GST), includes the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and 13 elevated metro stations along the Blue Line.
This project will connect Bhadbhada Chauraha to Ratnagiri Tiraha, covering a total stretch of 12.915 kilometers. Additionally, the scope of work includes access to the metro depot between specified chainages, further strengthening the city’s metro connectivity.
The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project is expected to be completed within 36 months. Afcons Infrastructure’s proven expertise in metro rail construction will ensure timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards, significantly boosting urban mobility in Bhopal.
