The Yogi Government Launched “Operation Durachari” to check crime against women perpetrators of sex crimes to have their posters displayed up on roads.
While inspecting sex crimes against women, the Yogi Adityanath government directed officials to display posters of perpetrators and sexual offenders on prominent road crossings. The directions were issued on Thursday as a means of evoking confidence in women and checking for sex crimes across Uttar Pradesh.
“The CM directed to put up posters of those involved in crimes against women at prominent crossings. He has also directed that those involved in such crimes should be punished by female police officers,” an official spokesman said. “The police officers of the area will be responsible in case any crime is committed against a woman.”
