Kia is set to unveil its much-anticipated compact SUV, the Syros, globally on December 19. Positioned to rival segment leaders like the Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kushaq, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and more, the Syros promises a superior rear seat experience, addressing one of the key demands of compact SUV buyers.
As per Autocar India, one standout feature of the Syros is its reclining rear seats, making it only the second vehicle in the segment, after the Hyundai Venue, to offer this. However, Kia takes it a step further by maximizing rear seat space. The Syros’ tall-boy design, inspired by the Kia Soul, optimizes vertical space, delivering rear seat comfort that surpasses not only the Sonet but even the larger Seltos.
Expected to launch in India in January at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the Syros boasts a host of premium features in its top trims. These include a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, an advanced ADAS suite, and a panoramic sunroof.
With its thoughtful design and feature-rich cabin, Kia aims to carve a niche in the compact SUV market by prioritizing passenger comfort and cutting-edge technology.
