The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways announced to States and Union Territories to have all issued International Driving Permits sealed by the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic on the first page.
The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic is also known as the International Convention of Road Traffic of 19th September 1949. It is an international treaty establishing uniform rules among contracting parties for the “development and safety of international road traffic.”
