InoxGFL Group, a leading business conglomerate in India, has announced its entry into the solar manufacturing sector through its new entity, Inox Solar. The company aims to become one of India’s fastest-growing solar platforms, targeting a production capacity of 5 GW for solar modules and 2.5 GW for solar cells by 2026, with an investment of Rs 1,500 crores.

Inox Solar’s first solar module manufacturing unit in Gujarat, set to begin operations in March 2025, will initially have a 1.2 GW capacity, focusing on TopCon modules. The company will offer turnkey EPC solutions, including land acquisition and power evacuation, through Inox Renewable Solutions Ltd. (formerly Resco Global Wind Services Ltd.), along with post-commissioning O&M services via Inox Green Energy Services.

Leveraging synergies within the INOXGFL Group, Inox Solar plans to provide hybrid wind-solar energy solutions and target the growing third-party commercial and industrial market. The Group’s renewable energy platform, IGREL Renewables, will also provide substantial order visibility. With an integrated approach across solar, wind, EV, and energy storage, InoxGFL is poised to play a significant role in India’s energy transition.
