Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen in the world and also one of the most successful Indian captains. As he leads the Indian side pretty well, leading RCB comes with a lot of pressure for the batsmen. The franchise has not had a good season in the last couple of seasons. With a lot of backlash from the audience and disappointment from the fans, the side would be looking at things differently this year.

Kohli is the only player in the IPL who has been with only one team since the IPL began in 2008 and believes that he is not going to leave the team.

Even though Virat’s runs have not been reduced even in the IPL, the team feels like it struggles to convert big scores not wins. Virat is the second player after Suresh Raina to reach 5000 IPL runs in 2019. In the last season of the IPL, he scored 464 runs in total 14 matches that he played for his side. In the campaign opener for RCB, they will be playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah. If Kohli wins the match then it will be his 50th win as the skipper of RCB. This will also make him just the fourth captain in the league to do so after MS Dhoni (101), Gautam Gambhir (71) and Rohit Sharma (60).

If the skipper scores 20 runs, he will also become the highest scoring player against SRH and needs 10 sixes to take his sixes to count to 200. Even though RCB has been criticised heavily, Virat Kohli will pose a threat to the opposition with his skills on the field. The 20 over league can turn around very quickly and no team can be treated lightly and the same goes for RCB.
