The strong performance follows the announcement on December 4, 2024, that PB Fintech has received approval for incorporating a wholly owned subsidiary focused on healthcare services. The proposed subsidiary will focus on healthcare services and will be incorporated in India with an authorised share capital of ₹5 lakh. The process for incorporating the subsidiary will follow all necessary approvals, including from the relevant authorities such as the Registrar of Companies.
PB Fintech, along with its nominee, will initially subscribe to 50,000 equity shares at a face value of ₹10 each, aggregating to ₹5 lakh in cash, thus acquiring 100 percent ownership of the new entity.
PB Fintech, widely recognised as Policybazaar, is an online platform for insurance and lending products. Through its flagship brands, Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, the company offers easy access to a range of insurance, credit, and other financial products.
