Bondada Engineering’s shares surged by 2% following the announcement of a prestigious work order from the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA). Valued at ₹108.9 crore, this project is part of the state’s Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana, reinforcing Bondada Engineering’s position as a leader in sustainable infrastructure.

The project involves the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced solar-powered street lighting systems across rural Bihar. These lights, equipped with cutting-edge remote monitoring technology, will be installed on existing electric poles, promoting efficient energy use and reduced carbon emissions.

Bondada Engineering will also manage the maintenance of the systems for five years, ensuring long-term reliability and performance. With an execution timeline of 18 months, this initiative is set to play a key role in enhancing rural infrastructure while supporting Bihar’s renewable energy goals.
