Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) reported tractor sales of 8,974 units in November 2024, marking a 9.4% decline compared to 9,906 units sold in November 2023.
Domestic Sales Performance
Domestic tractor sales stood at 8,730 units, down 8.1% from 9,503 units in November 2023. The decline is attributed to the shift of major festive days to October this year. However, during the festive season (September-November 2024), domestic tractor sales increased by 9%, reaching 38,554 units compared to 35,387 units in the same period last year.
Export Sales Update
Export sales dropped significantly by 39.5%, with 244 tractors sold in November 2024 compared to 403 tractors in November 2023.
