CLSA has maintained its “Outperform” rating on Bharti Airtel, with a target price of ₹1,860. The brokerage highlights continued growth in post-paid subscriptions, driven by the rollout of 5G services and premium tariffs. Post-paid subscribers represent the high-end customer base, contributing approximately 100% premium to Bharti’s blended Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
In recent developments, Bharti Airtel has awarded a multi-billion-dollar contract to Nokia for supplying 4G and 5G equipment, aiming to enhance its network infrastructure in India. This move is expected to strengthen Airtel’s position in the competitive telecom landscape, enabling the company to offer superior services to its customers.
CLSA’s positive outlook is further supported by Airtel’s strategic focus on expanding its 5G network and sustaining its competitive edge against rivals like Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio.
