RailTel Corporation of India shares rose 1% after securing a ₹15.21 crore contract from Kakinada Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL).

The project includes Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning (SITC), and Operations & Maintenance of Kakinada’s Integrated Command Communication Center. Scheduled for completion by May 2028, this domestic contract underscores RailTel’s growing role in smart city projects.

As of 9:37 am, RailTel shares were trading 1.35% higher at Rs 398.25 on the NSE.
