Porsche India has unveiled a teaser of the upcoming 911 GT3 RS, showcasing its high-performance Manthey Racing (MR) wing. The teaser, posted on Instagram via @porsche_in, reveals the car’s aggressive new look and hints at significant upgrades for track enthusiasts. With a ‘Coming Soon’ message, Porsche invites fans to mark their calendars for the official unveiling on 22 November 2024, at 10:00 CET (2:30 PM IST).
Manthey Racing, renowned for enhancing Porsche vehicles’ track capabilities, is set to elevate the 911 GT3 RS with a host of performance-driven modifications. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 MR edition, equipped with the MR kit, improved its Nürburgring lap time by 4.19 seconds over the standard model, proving the effectiveness of the upgrades.
The MR version of the 911 GT3 RS will feature a larger rear wing with a shark fin, aero disc wheels, a front diffuser, and additional roof fins. The sporty aesthetics will be completed with Manthey Racing logos on the side doors. Performance-wise, the car will be equipped with improved brake lines, adjustable coilovers, and lightweight magnesium wheels, promising enhanced driving dynamics on the track.
