Epack Durable shares were down 5% in early trading, priced at ₹462.50 on NSE as of 9:18 am, following a weak Q2 performance report. The company reported a significant year-on-year decline in gross margin, which fell by over 200 basis points.

For the quarter ended September 2024, Epack Durable reported:

  • Sales: ₹377.10 crore, a 111.73% increase compared to ₹178.10 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
  • Net Loss: ₹8.49 crore, widening from ₹6.08 crore in Q2 of the previous fiscal year.
  • Operating Profit Margin (OPM): Fell to 2.36% from 4.17%.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): Loss expanded to ₹11.70 crore from ₹8.26 crore.

Despite the rise in sales, the increased losses and margin pressures have impacted investor sentiment, leading to the drop in share price.
