Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) saw its shares rise nearly 2% today after the company launched the updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire, a popular compact sedan now available in both petrol and S-CNG models. With a legacy of reliability and success, the Dzire has become one of Maruti Suzuki’s most iconic models, amassing over 27 lakh customers across India. The refreshed Dzire introduces modern styling and advanced features, setting new standards in the compact sedan segment.

Key features of the new Dzire:

  • Sleek and Progressive Styling: The new Dzire boasts a refined design with premium features, including an electric sunroof, 360-degree HD view camera, and LED crystal vision headlamps, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
  • Exceptional Fuel Efficiency: Powered by the advanced Z-Series 1.2L engine, the Dzire leads in fuel efficiency with 24.79 km/l for the petrol variant and 33.73 km/kg for the S-CNG variant, making it India’s most fuel-efficient sedan.
  • Enhanced Interiors and Connectivity: The Dzire offers plush interiors with a 22.86 cm (9”) SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes a wireless smartphone charger, fast-charging USB ports, and TPMS for a connected and comfortable driving experience.
  • Advanced Safety Features: Equipped with over 15 safety features, including six airbags, ESP with hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors, the Dzire ensures top-notch protection. It holds a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, underscoring its commitment to safety.

During the launch event in New Delhi, MSIL’s Managing Director & CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, highlighted that the Dzire remains a benchmark in the sedan segment, appealing to modern drivers who value style, comfort, and sustainability. The reimagined Dzire aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to innovation and eco-friendly solutions in India’s competitive sedan market.
