The Toyota Camry has been on sale in India since 2002 and the iconic sedan is set to return with the all-new ninth-generation Camry XV80 in early 2025. Building on the legacy of its predecessor, the Camry XV80 brings an updated design and modern features to the market.

The new Camry showcases an evolutionary design with a slightly longer body but retains the same wheelbase. The front end adopts a more aggressive look, inspired by Lexus, featuring a narrow grille running from headlight to headlight. The compact headlight pods with LED Daytime Running Lights add a touch of sophistication.

Inside, the Camry’s cabin offers a more premium feel with subtle chrome accents and a two-tone interior. A larger screen with wireless Apple CarPlay enhances connectivity, while the inclusion of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) provides safety and convenience features such as dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist and pre-collision braking.

The new Camry has greater power, up to 227 horsepower from the engine and strong-hybrid system combined, even if the basic mechanical hardware used under the hood is the same.
