Tera Software Limited, in consortium with ITI Ltd, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for two significant packages under the BharatNet Phase-3 project. The total value of the contracts amounts to Rs. 3022 crores, covering the states of Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar.

This project, initiated by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), aims to enhance broadband connectivity in rural India, connecting over 640,000 villages and Gram Panchayats with high-speed internet.

The BharatNet Phase-3 project, funded through the Digital Bharat Nidhi under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), focuses on the design, supply, construction and maintenance of the Middle Mile Network. This will enable reliable, high-speed broadband services, supporting the government’s vision for a digitally connected India.
