MG Motor India has introduced two new variants of the Hector Plus 7-seater SUV: the Select Pro petrol-CVT at Rs 19.71 lakh and the Smart Pro diesel-MT at Rs 20.64 lakh (ex-showroom). These variants bring more affordable options with advanced features and versatile configurations.
Previously only available with a manual transmission, the mid-spec petrol Select Pro model now also comes with a CVT automatic. A seven-seater option with a bench seat for the second row has been added to the entry-level diesel Smart Pro version, which was previously only offered in a six-seater configuration.
Features including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment, connected car tech and wireless phone charging are included in both versions. Additionally, both include leather-wrapped steering wheels, a full-LED instrument cluster, sequential turn indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, push-button start with keyless go and LED projector headlights.
Under the hood, the petrol-CVT variant is powered by a 1.5-litre engine producing 143hp and 250Nm, while the diesel-MT variant features a 2.0-litre engine delivering 170hp and 350Nm, shared with models like the Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass.
