Hero MotoCorp has introduced a new and more powerful version of its iconic Karizma motorcycle at the 2024 EICMA Motor Show in Milan, Italy. The much-anticipated Karizma XMR 250 comes with a host of exciting updates, including a larger displacement engine, aggressive styling changes and several feature enhancements that elevate its performance and visual appeal.
At the heart of the Karizma XMR 250 is a 250cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 30 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. This engine is the same as the one found in the stage-sharing Xtreme 250 R, which was also unveiled alongside the Karizma XMR 250.
The Karizma 250 in the photo has a black fuel tank cowl with dual-tone red and white paintwork. The new Karizma derivative adds a few additional features while keeping the design cues from the previous generation.
The new Karizma derivative has height-adjustable clip-ons and switchable ABS modes. Using a trellis frame, the motorbike has a rear monoshock with six adjustment settings and an upside-down (USD) fork. It has a drag timer and a lap timer to monitor performance. LED DRLs and an auto-illuminating multi-projector LED headlamp are part of its lighting setup.
