The Fars news agency reported that several military bases west and southwest of Tehran were hit, though the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) facilities in these areas reportedly sustained no damage. According to a Sputnik correspondent, explosions were heard over Tehran early in the morning, lasting about a minute in the vicinity of the Russian embassy.
Israeli sources indicated that the strikes were limited to military targets and did not extend to critical nuclear or oil infrastructure, as confirmed by CBS News. Iran’s response to these strikes is expected, although the details of any forthcoming actions remain unclear.
