Lehar Footwears Limited has announced that it has received financial assistance from the Government of India under the ‘Development of Design Studios in Footwear and Leather Sector,’ a sub-scheme of the Indian Footwear and Leather Development Programme (IFLDP). The company secured ₹8.46 crore in funding out of the total project cost of ₹16.92 crore for the development of a design studio.
The remaining ₹8.46 crore will be invested by the company, and the project is expected to be completed within 12 months. This financial assistance aligns with the Government of India’s efforts to boost the footwear and leather sectors through the development of innovative design studios.
The company has disclosed this information in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
