It is nothing new on fans’ part to go crazy when Shah Rukh Khan appears on screen. However, the buzz for his next movie is way more, because for the first time ever, the King of Bollywood will share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan. The father-daughter duo will be seen together in Sujoy Ghosh’s next King.
It must be noted that it is not yet clear if King Khan and Suhana will appear as father-and-daughter on silver screen.
A recent report in Times Now revealed that SRK will not even be playing the role of Suhana’s onscreen father. Rather, he will be essaying the part of a professional killer. Meanwhile, Suhana would be playing the role of a girl who has lost her family and is now under the protection of SRK.
This plot and character is reportedly inspired by the 1994 English language French film Léon: The Professional. Explaining the connection, a source stated, “It isn’t Leon completely. But yeah, the basic plot in King is inspired by the same source.”
Fans are elated to witness SRK in yet another action thriller, after watching him in Pathan and Jawan in 2024. Both the movies proved to be massive hits at the box office.
