In its Q2 FY25 financial report, Axis Bank has reported a decline in gross non-performing assets (NPA), which now stand at 1.44%, down from 1.54% in the previous quarter. The net NPA remained stable at 0.34%, indicating efficient management of the bank’s loan portfolio.

Other notable points include:

  • Total provisions and contingencies for Q2 FY25 were ₹2,204 crore, compared to ₹814 crore in Q2 FY24.
  • Operating profit for Q2 FY25 was ₹10,712 crore, up from ₹10,106 crore in the previous quarter.
  • The bank maintained its return on assets (RoA) at a healthy 1.84%.
