The airline immediately informed authorities, following established security protocols. Upon arrival at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the aircraft was directed to an isolation bay, and all passengers were safely disembarked.
A spokesperson for Vistara stated that the airline is fully cooperating with security agencies to carry out all mandatory checks. The spokesperson also emphasized that the safety of customers, crew, and the aircraft remains their highest priority.
This incident is one of 21 reported security threats over the past four days, raising concerns about the safety of flights amidst increasing security challenges. Investigations are ongoing to ensure passenger safety on all future flights.
