Porsche recently unveiled the 992.2 generation 911, showcasing the basic Carrera and GTS models. Now, the carmaker is preparing to launch the first of the family’s tough GT models. Porsche has announced that the sports vehicle will make its debut on October 18. Until then, the brand teased the car with a teaser and revealed some key details.
What to expect in Porsche 911 GT3 facelift?
The 911 GT3’s unique shape can be seen in the teaser photograph that Porsche released. With a massive spoiler aimed at capturing all of the engine’s power, this version of the car appears to have the same focus on aero as the previous model. To further increase the car’s performance on a track, more aerodynamic upgrades are anticipated.
If compared to the previous generation, Porsche claims the new model would be more innovative and thrilling. In the car’s dark teaser, the company has included a roll bar that can be seen through the rear window to support the claims.
The German carmaker also stated that the sports vehicle would make its debut with two variations, both of which will be released at the same time.
The new Porsche 911 GT3’s powertrain specifications are yet unknown. The 911 GT3 is likely to continue with its pure ICE engine rather than switching to a hybrid.
