RailTel shares jumped more than 3% in morning trades after the company bagged a Rs 79.84 crore contract from the Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (MHADA).

The project involves providing IT and networking services to MHADA, hence increasing RailTel’s impact in public sector technology projects.

As of 9:25 am, RailTel shares were trading 3.90% higher at Rs 423.30 on the NSE.
